• An umbilical catheter is a long, soft, hallow tube that is
inserted into one of the two arteries or the vein of the
umbilical cord. It allows blood to be taken from an infant
at different times, without repeated needle sticks

• Atraumatic, soft rounded open distal tip to reduce vascular
trauma
• Tube with radio-opaque line, marked at every cm form 5
to 25cm from the open distal tip for accurate placement
• Can be used with venous or arterial routes for infusion,

• Soft, frosted and kink resistant PVC Tubing
